Arts Field Trip
Let Southern Delaware inspire the artists in your students!
Southern Delaware has long been a magnet for performers, musicians, artisans and crafters who are inspired by the natural beauty and the laid back vibe of our seaside and rural communities. The area is full of studios, galleries, art leagues, and performing arts venues and theaters, and our calendar is full of art shows and festivals, studio tours, live theater performances for kids and adults, and concerts of all kinds.
Many of our local art leagues offer classes, some of them single classes, so educators and homeschooling parents might, in addition to looking into the following resources, want to check out the links below the listings to view class schedules. Additionally, there are many crafts classes offered by our State Parks including sea glass jewelry and Sailor's Valentine classes, and more. Check out their program schedules here...
